ATL airport this morning reminds me of college football season Fridays: people in different jerseys flying to different airports. Argentina fans headed to Kansas City, Senegal fans headed to NYC, Cape Verde fans maybe not sure where they’re headed but don’t really care.

The Big 12 filing legal action and other state AGs joining in showed Sorsby and Cody Campbell this wouldn’t be an easy fight, in fact he was likely to lose. What’s curious is Sorsby walking away from the $4 million or so he was guaranteed at Texas Tech this year vs the uncertainty of the NFL.

This is the most spectacularly stupid article I have read this year, which is saying something. Trying to fake being authentic by intentionally making aggressively dumb sports arguments publicly if you're not a sports fan will fool no one, and may well drive people away by being phony.

Sure, they can roll their eyes now, but if the SEC did break off in some form and then invited any Big 12 member they'd be rushing to get in.

The judge elections were tucked down the ballot and you had to be a pretty engaged voter to know that these were final elections and which one was for which party.
