No matter how much Republicans try to spin their economic record, it's not true. If they just listened to folks on the ground, they'd hear the stories of far too many hardworking Americans struggling under reckless GOP policies. It’s time for a change.

The American people saw what can happen when House Democrats retake the majority: we deliver policies that improve the lives of everyday Americans.

The quote highlighted in this story is a terrible summation of the health care crisis Republicans have created - and refuse to address: “I don’t even know how to get my mind around it. It’s the opposite of affordable.”

Saddened to learn of the passing of Dan Murphy, one of the most dedicated labor champions I’ve had the privilege of knowing. Snohomish County won’t be the same without his smile and passion for service. Rest in peace Dan.

This is an unconscionable failure by House Republicans. Millions of Americans face looming health care price spikes - but Republicans can’t be bothered to do anything about it before the deadline.

This read in the Atlantic is a strong summary of how Democrats are poised to retake the House Majority in 2026, that voters hate Republicans’ efforts to rig the election, and they are souring on GOP broken promises to lower costs.

It’s simple. Trump and Republicans’ broken promises on the economy and rising costs is losing them public support. Affordability, and House Democrats’ laser focus to address the pocketbook issues are why we will take back the majority next year.

It doesn’t have to be this way. The admin can release funds now to help keep food assistance available, and House Republicans need to come back to work so we can sit down and negotiate a bipartisan deal.

Nobody asked for these Republican mid-cycle gerrymanders, except Donald Trump - and the data backs it up. He and House Republicans know they can’t win on the issues, so they are desperately trying to rig the elections.
