Happy birthday Bolivia, who is turning 200 today. I made this lap quilt as a wedding gift for my husband. The Irish chain pattern in the Bolivian colors, and choose a black background. The quilted border is a design on pre-Columbian sites (although I forget which one). #ingerscrafts #Bolivia

I am attempting to salvage my mother’s crocheted crowns from the 1950s and 1960s. I found 2 of my moms pattern books, and decided to pull out the crowns. I am happy I did because I found they were brown and some had mold. First treatment - soaks in cold water changing the water hourly.
