Day 5- it's STRIPE! STRIPE was a phase Il randomised control trial that aimed to determine whether electrical stimulation of the tibial nerve (a nerve in the lower leg) improves overactive bladder symptoms in people with Parkinson's. amrg.blogs.bristol.ac.uk/stripe/

Day 4 of our festive countdown is Complex Medicine in Older People, or CMOP! This project involved designing and implementing an 18 week clerkship focussed on equipping tomorrow’s doctors with the knowledge and skills required to care for older people with complex health and social care needs⭐️

Day 3- STOMP! This mixed methods study explored medical students’ experience of inappropriate and distressing behaviour from patients pertaining to the students protected characteristics, and the extent to which medical school education empowers them to deal with these interactions appropriately.

Door 2 of our festive countdown is @chiefpd2 ! We are proud to say that this was the largest trial of a novel drug treatment in Parkinson’s ever conducted in the UK!!
