My children have recently become obsessed with watching live TV. This means they just watch whatever's on MeTV Toons. They consider this to be an exciting novelty.

Less Than Perfect was such a terrible show, and I watched it every week because I had such a crush on Sara Rue. Hadn't thought about these opening credits in 20 years.

Casting the Rock as Maui for this was such a big mistake. We've all heard him in role already, but also: He doesn't look at all like Maui - being a big fluffy tub of a man is such a big part of the character's charm - and his wig truly looks like something out of an SNL digital short.

Shrinking is the only Emmy-nominated show I've seen from this season, so I hope that wins. Jessica Williams especially.

It's so funny to me that no one ever mentioned Mark even once in the remaining five seasons of Parks & Rec. INCLUDING when Ann sorts mementos from all of her exes into labeled boxes. There's a "Tom" box, and she dated that guy for like two episodes! She dated Mark for the whole 2nd season!

Watching Toy Story 4 for the first time in several years. And wow, they really did lose the plot on this one. It's funny, exciting, I love spending time with these characters, but "Toys can lead rich lives by themselves! Who needs some dumb kid?!" is the weirdest turn for this series to take.

Big thanks to @shezcrafti.com for lending me a copy of Big Girls Don't Cry . . . They Get Even, a Joan Micklin Silver movie I hadn't seen*. It's basically a PG-13 Disney Channel movie, but I'll be darned if JMS doesn't make all the stock types feel like real people by the end.

Last three Family Movie Nights. Miles just lined them up and said "Three awesome movies!"

Muppets Now ran for six episodes, and I watched exactly one because it made me so sad. I've seen every episode of so many other Muppet productions.
