#TTRPG Game Masters, I have a question for you! How many layers of motivation do you like to give your antagonists? Do you like them complex and nuanced, or is 'Evil Feels Good' enough for you? Do you think there's such a thing as 'too much' motivation? I'd love to hear your opinions!

"Impossible" my ass, Sega. You and all your AAA friends did it for 40 years. Indie devs do it all the time. If you've truly given up on the idea of making anything high-quality, unique and interesting - and ruining livelihoods besides - sack up and admit it. None of this 'we can have both' shit.

A #TTRPG opinion I agree with: Your primary goal as a GM is to tell an engaging story with the help of your players. Running a simulation of the world is largely irrelevant to moment-to-moment adventuring, and the answers to world-building questions don't ALL need to be found before play begins.

Didn't expect Thunderbolts* of all movies to make me cry. Like... the painful kind. Where your chest seizes, and the tears start, but it's more gasping than sobbing. When a very old wound is reopened and salved, and you've lived with it so long you forgot what it was like before.
