Teaching and research are often framed as enemies But I'm teaching in my area for the first time, and I'm surprised how synergistic it's been! I wrote an R&R this week using citations from class. It's also pushing me think more "big picture" and see my work in a broader context

When collecting data online do you... (a) 'require response' in Qualtrics, ensuring p's don't skip q's by mistake (b) 'REQUEST response' for this reason ^^ but allowing them to skip q's (c) Neither Related, is there work on the effect of 'request response' for data quality?

New paper in Psych Science led by Clara Colombatto in which we show that, contra expectations of policymakers, vaccine nationalism actually decreases trust in leaders. Redistributive leaders are trusted more than nationalistic leaders —even by more nationalistic participants.
