Had to write a short artist statement today for an exhibition piece. I fucking hate doing this. Just another way of making oneself trying to conform to something. I think I should write “doing creative work comes hard to me and I can’t focus because I have to work for money.”

Some food for thought. As a person deeply embedded in the IT community, I observe this split of opinions and ideas firsthand. It's quite intellectually stimulating but also anxiety-inducing. Worth a read.

Every time I am thinking "never gonna do film again!", something like this happens: I make a few exposures on a medium format camera, I develop the film, and I wonder why I am even bothering with digital. And then I go back to digital. And then it happens again. LOL. Incurable. #photoLife

I don't tend to brag about new gear, but being on a serious bike for the first time in my life feels amazing. I am getting into gravel cycling and it is like a second youth, lol! So much to learn. Wish me luck in exploring the Scottish wilder... weirdnessness. A camera will be there with me!
