If they make another Ghostbusters sequel, show us The Stiff's reaction to learning his baby-mama also 'dogged Rick Moranis. Maybe a sad concerto on that little violin. *sniff*

The contrast in tone between the quotes their digital marketing company gave when bragging to Billboard (“We know how to go viral. We have thousands of pages“) and the ones they give here downplaying their work is pretty telling

It's weird to see some people pulling their heads from the sand today after our endless antichrist warnings. What will they do about it? I'm exhausted from having merely gained some concession that the sky is blue.

We may not like Mondays, but Tuesdays haven't been so great either without those ’90s’ weekly record-store visits. Freaky apostrophes … if those rendered as straight not curly, would look like a quotation instead of an opening contraction and plural possessive in the same word.

I've received multiple pieces of promotional mail from Spectrum weekly for about 15 years. Will never be a customer. Such waste. The trash bin next to the mailboxes often overflows with them. Someone could art together quite a monument to failure.

I've been working on a prototype for an instrument that fits an entire keyboard in a compact space. This is tuned in 4ths like a bass guitar, if only it had 12 strings and a really wide neck.

you can tell Wired has been doing good journalism lately because there's been increased whining by the extraction class about how Wired mysteriously changed in the decade since tech titans fully revealed themselves as sociopaths from this recent Dorsey interview:

Van Halen’s no-brown-M&Ms clause was an excellent way to expose corner-cutting promoters (“the way you do anything is the way you do everything”)… but it also meant knowing that all of their M&Ms had been touched.

It's complex because they're asking to use something that isn't theirs, on an international scale, in many possible iterations. Tech has compounded this, but so have the assumptions of consumers for whom music no longer has monetary value.

You can test new tech ideas using the Seinfeld Test Would the product eliminate the plot of an episode? (Google maps, cell phones, paypal, battery packs) Good tech. Would the product inspire new Seinfeld plots? (NFTs, AI chatbots, crypto currency, blindboxes, metaverse land sales) Bad tech.
