I'm going to inquire for further information to the best of my abilities, but so far I doubt that release was cleared with Universal.

This release reportedly ships SilentPatch and Fusion Fix, and none of us were contacted about this in advance (which isn't necessary as per the license, but would be nice). I KNOW that the holder of the Scarface license wasn't willing to re-release the game, so this is suspect.

Whats crazy is I don’t even care about people bashing Nintendo as a company. THATS fine. I’m more so talking about harassing the buyers that are just minding their business. Calling someone slurs because they bought a Switch 2 is weirdo behavior.

Switch 2 era is weird man. Nintendo hate online is normal, but I have never seen people having to tip toe around talking about a game company like this out of fear of being harassed. It was never this tense.

So many people forget that any given game in a series is not only going to be somebody's first experience with the series, but possibly the genre or even videogames as a whole. And there are few things more crushing to a total newcomer than a game that skips tutorials and just expects you to KNOW.

"I'll never get over this thing that they did, they should disappear forever," is a crazy outlook to have, but you learn this for media and never question it and then we wonder why criminals are treated the way they are. You don't have to like a person for them to be able to experience growth.

If someone tries to redeem themselves but you personally don't want to forgive them, you act like there's absolutely nothing they can ever do to be a different, better person. You cannot change or be redeemed until you're forgiven, and if it's something unforgivable, change is also impossible.

People are weird about redemption in media, and partially, at least in the US, it's because we're indoctrinated to be weird about redemption in general. People treat suffering as the ultimate form of atonement and can't reconcile the idea that someone can change but you don't have to forgive them.

Love this comparison. There are many reasons why the Crash remakes turned out the way that they did, but it is deeply frustrating that the conversation around these games in particular treats them as true upgrades over the originals when that simply could not be further from the truth.

I don't give a fuck how "overused" the bike slide from Akira is referenced. Like it or not, the movie is a part of pop culture now and it personally hypes me up everytime I see it.

People who complain about too many series taking place in highschool settings or being about teenagers are honestly just incapable of searching for things on their own and need to just partake in seinen/josei instead of just whats popular.

I know this isn't unique to weebs but please please stop expecting manga made for twelve year old boys to handle every moral nuance and political reality with perfection when most adult stuff doesn't. I'm not saying don't criticize but please adjust expectations.
