After I'm done with Hard Truck 2 I went to finally try its sequel, Rig'n'Roll, as I never played it on release. But with the DLC missing from the digital releases and the amount of crashes people report, I suspect it'll be "fun" in the way typical for me (= weeks of fixing) 😂

Update: This is happening because of the Modern Patch: they don't know how to use Detours properly, and instead reimplemented entire functions, introducing a bug in one of them. Ten times the effort for no benefit, only to introduce new bugs...

Something is seriously wrong with traffic in Hard Truck 2/King of the Road, and I can't tell if that's how it always was, or if it's broken only on the modern PCs and/or the latest version of the game.

iGNITION 2000: Origins shows a lot of promise and has a vision, but right now it's *very* early and more of a proof-of-concept than an EA release. The UI rocks and menus remind me of NFS Hot Pursuit 2 PC, the overall vibe is on point, and driving is OK. Waiting for more content.

I figured I'll finally try Contraband Police instead, yet another Polish game and... the "fake but plausible Slavic language" gimmick they use alone makes it an infinitely more interesting game. I find it fascinating.

Taxi Life doesn't give the best first impressions: Cutscene cameras are stuttery, TAA smear is everywhere, the entire game looks kind of plastic and sterile - basically any "staple" UE4 issue you can think of is there. Barcelona looks pleasing though, and should be fun to cruise around.

A broken countryside rain timecycle entry on PC is something that completely slipped my mind until James covered it in his video. Although the "best" fix is to edit the broken line, SilentPatch now includes a fallback for this specific mistake and parses this line correctly.

NASCAR 25 has a bug? where motion blur is enabled ONLY on a single track (Charlotte at Night). Seeing such trivial, easily avoidable issues is painful. Too many developers underestimate how many random, smaller issues like this could be addressed by 1 or 2 "fixers" in no time. (yes this is an ad)
