Friends of @getskyscraper.com, what is one feature that I don’t have in the app that you miss from another app, or makes you head over to a different app?

Some time away yesterday for some photography!

26.3% of you are on the new version of @getskyscraper.com and so far, no crashes. I have to admit though to the most Chicago app developer thing. I decided in my head to push the update while turning from Lower Wacker onto Lower Lower Wacker.

This is absolutely not advisable, and I’m not recommending this to any other developer. But 1.4.4 with scroll fix was in TestFlight most of day and no crashes for TF users. Feels good to me. So I’m pushing live at 5pm on a Friday before I head to a concert. Hope it’s good all!

Dear all, if you’re seeing some slight feed jumping here and there, I’m working on it. Rushing a crash fix, leads to other issues. But it’s not as bad as a crash! Hope to have a TestFlight push tomorrow to make sure the fix works and there’s no crashes. Then off to Apple if no complaints!

Anyone else having OAuth issues today? In Skyscraper or elsewhere?

Quick fix of Skyscraper released this AM with a fix for a couple users that were seeing persistent crashing. I can’t recreate myself, so if you are still seeing the issue after updating, please let me know so I can get you on TestFlight and we can try again?

Show of hands, and no promises. But is the ability to “create” your own feed something that interests people? Does it interest you enough to pay more for it? Because it could be something that has some significant server cost.

Tfw you get an App Store review saying your app is “a good start but there’s been hardly any more development.” I’ve done 10 releases since launch in January. 🫠

Alright, which of you is trying (maybe somewhat successfully?) to use Skyscraper to mass view profiles and how are you doing it?

This is why I love Bluesky. I post a problem, and Rob follows up with having had the same problem and has a dongle that fixed the problem for him. Ordered! Excited that maybe I finally have a solution!

One thing I’m hoping can change with Apple’s change in leadership is their in-store support. It’s declined over the past few years. I’ve had a CarPlay issue with my iPhone Air since it released. Today was my second trip to the store to fix it. They wouldn’t really help last time I had a beta.
