For anyone curious about yesterday’s three crockpot stock yield: we got about 22 cups of stock. 17 have been frozen in half, cup, and 2 cup blocks and the remaining 5 will become soup tonight. We also got three takeout containers packed with shredded chicken. One of those will go into the soup. Yum!

I have three crockpots of chicken stock going and my house smells sooo good. Soup for dinner tomorrow! (Need to cool before we can skim fat) Tonight is meatloaf and fries and a ton of roasted root veggies. Yum!

Drafting novels has become difficult of late. I used to be a happy pantser--leap in, and trust that my subconscious knew where I was going (and it did). I developed a habit of just-in-time plotting, where I'd plan out the next few chapters, have a guideline, and that kept me on track. (1/4)

Writing is fun. Something that makes no sense and seems insurmountable one day can be two new sentences, a deleted paragraph, and tweaked phrasing on another day. That said, I am still waiting for plotting to become easy. And I would like it if things spent more time being easy than insurmountable

The algorithms have decided that since I am interested in food/cooking and in high protein/lower sugar recipes, I must love fitness influencers. I've managed to tune it to GOOD folks (ones who're reasonable and recognize food is fuel, NOT inherently evil, and yes, we need things like preservatives).
