Traffic Wales are reporting that A55 will now be closed westbound between J12 Tal y Bont and J11 Llandygai due to flooding. They estimate that it may reopen around 6am on Saturday.

Anglesey County Council 💬 The B5109 Station Hill is closed until further notice. Electricity pole and cables have fallen onto the highway. Met Office has issued a Yellow Warning for Wind (40-55mph gusts) on Thurs for Anglesey and Gwynedd coasts. It is plausible that Britannia Bridge could see strong enough gusts to trigger restrictions on motorbikes + caravans that may be unable to use Menai Bridge as a diversion due to closures.
