Since the start of the last road trip, when the season took a left turn off the rails, the Rangers have given up first inning runs in 7 of 13 games. They’re 4-9 during the stretch, 1-6 when giving up runs in the first.

I guess we all know now why CY felt no need to sign a closer. He did see a need to sign a blowout mop up guy though.

Not watching, but I see the score. This is a 90 loss team. They don’t do anything well. Right now I’m saying 69-93. Awful baseball.

58 consecutive Texas Rangers have failed to get a base hit. 1 of their last 62 batters has gotten a hit. This is historically bad. Just awful baseball. Oh, they gave up 9 runs too. So the pitching is starting to realize their efforts don’t matter in the least.
