We're thrilled to share that YouMove is now reaching 16,934 people across the county, allowing families to get active together and enjoy swimming, dance, yoga and more. 💃 We're also reaching 268 Early Years families since launch in 2024. 🙌 We look forward to hearing more as the year continues!

In our county, 26% of children cannot swim 25m when leaving primary school. In our priority neighbourhoods, the figure is 44%. In our latest blog, we reflect on shared learning from our Swimming and Water Safety Summit, and how collaboration is our greatest asset when confronting inequality. 🏊

Last week, we hosted a chalking session at Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre, inviting families to bring their design ideas for the development of our 'Play Corridor'! As part of our Active Neighbourhood Scans work, the area will be developed into an outdoor activity space for all to enjoy. 🌷

Last week, we worked with the Activity Alliance to arrange training for school staff responsible for leading PE and Sports activities. ⚽ This training aims to provide staff with the knowledge and confidence in adapting their school PE for all pupils, ensuring everyone has a chance to benefit. 🫶
