Yeah Alter Memory is not very good. It's a fairly straight adaptation that adds almost nothing new while absolutely just feeling like a stripped down rushed retelling. It hits most of the major plot beats but that's about it. Everyone gets an obligatory cameo but most of them show up once and vanish
