Sometimes you do what you have to do to make something work (the original surface mount voltage regulator in this chorus pedal died, taking out the PT2399 with it and all I have is a thru-hole version, which is tack-soldered in place while look at ordering a replacement)

Hopefully this comparison of the Zoom L6 and the new L6max is helpful to someone! They are both good and neither is perfect, just depends on your needs (and I have a lot of needs, apparently)
