I managed to cut my list to 6 and between the 7 of us we voted for 5 different books 🙃😂 We had to hold a second vote as a tie breaker between the top two and it was split almost down the middle. I take this as a sign it was a good list 💅🏼

So to recap this week - One of my best friends at work was unexpectedly let go on Monday - The chairman of the nonprofit board I’m on resigned tonight effective immediately (after getting us caught up in a hot mess that the rest of us will now have to deal with 🥴) February starting off with a bang.

I’ve had an @effinbirds.com daily calendar at work the last couple years and it is UNCANNY how often it directly applies to work situations going on, it’s become a running joke in our area. Today was a Hard Day for big reasons and this was today’s calendar. It could not be more appropriate

Finally made it into work today after not leaving the house since Saturday, and… nobody else showed up lol. My boss has been here the last two days but decided not to come in 😂😭

Our end of the street isn’t plowed bc it’s not on a bus route (buses turn prior to us). My husband had to go pick up the kid from his mom’s, and the plows had left this line of ice blocks across our street 🙃 He had to break them down a little to get through. (Those are his tracks on the other side)
