Hank is doing ok! Yay!!!!

Hank found and ate a Swedish dishcloth, we found half of it but pretty sure he swallowed half of it. With his cancer it would be really bad for him to have surgery, he is terminal and his organs aren’t functioning correctly. The vet said to feed him some bulky foods and hope for the best. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I spoke with Shadow’s former owner today when delivering pet food. He loves her so much, but was forced to surrender her because he lost his home and wasn’t able to go into a shelter with her. This one is special, everyone. Let’s find Shadow the best home ever!!!!

Found someone to take the grackle!

Update on the grackle…. He hopped out of his box someway, we saw him in the yard so mom called a wildlife rescuer. They said to get a hanging flower pot, make him a little nest and hang it in the tree and hope he will fly off. She said it sounds like a fledgling.

This is the grackle. It’s breathing heavy and blinking. We have just had a lot of rain over the last few days, could it be something to do with that? Maybe he is a fledgling or something?

We just found what appears to be a full grown grackle in our backyard. It is on the ground, not flying but hopping around and walking through the grass. It is panting like a dog, but its mouth is closed. What should we do?

Last week we visited the Great Smokey National Park and had a great time! We saw 74 bears! We also went over the mountain to Cherokee NC, saw the elk and met some of the nicest rangers in the park system! And that says a lot, because park rangers are amazing!!

My friend Grant and I were at the park and there were some bunnies that looked domesticated, Animal Control Officer Ross came to try to catch them but we weren’t able to get them! We will keep an eye on them! TY for responding ACO Ross!

I was contacted by a nice lady who makes blankets for charities and people and she wanted to give me a blanket she made to celebrate the shelter pet designation! It was so nice! Her name is Sue and she also wants to collaborate on a project to help out unhoused people. Thank you so much! I love it!
