My friend Grant and I were at the park and there were some bunnies that looked domesticated, Animal Control Officer Ross came to try to catch them but we weren’t able to get them! We will keep an eye on them! TY for responding ACO Ross!

I was contacted by a nice lady who makes blankets for charities and people and she wanted to give me a blanket she made to celebrate the shelter pet designation! It was so nice! Her name is Sue and she also wants to collaborate on a project to help out unhoused people. Thank you so much! I love it!

I had a busy day today, lol. Went to ReForest Frankfort with my scout troop, then Sobriety Fest where I passed out pet food. Tired, but it was a great day!

SB 37 just passed the house! Now it has to go back to the Senate where they have to concur the amendment. Soooo close!

Well, SB 37 didn’t make it for a vote yesterday. It’s on the orders of the day for today as well. This is the last day of session.

SB 37 is on the Ky state house orders of the day today, this is the bill which has the amendment with my bill to make rescue pets the state pet of Ky attached. I have tried to get this passed for 7 years! Will today be the day it passes? 2 days left in session….

Hank update! We took him to a nice vet, he did need a little bit of sedation but he is ok and his broken nail is removed. Now he is mad at us for taking him to the vet, but he is walking on the foot a little bit more and hopefully will be back to 100% soon!!!

We would appreciate kind thoughts and prayers today, Hank is having a really bad day. You may or may not know, but he has terminal cancer, and he broke his toenail on top of it. We are really worried it may require surgery, and anesthesia with him is a really bad thing right now.
