Also, aside from some wrap-up the adventure's over so I can finally post about this GMing thing I'm a little proud of: adventure was a mystery that had three possible culprits, and so clues down multiple branches. The first branch the PCs went down would always be a red herring. The second was real.

A 5e thought: the ability to easily "identify" a magic item without using spells during a short rest is good for GMs, actually, because players like to rely on it instead of using a spell and it doesn't reveal curses. No reason why this came to mind, honest.
