Since quite a few people have joined Bluesky since my most recent post, here are some photos that I've taken in the sky over the Hudson Valley, during the last several months. It's been a good year for astrophotography!

Yes, the big day is finally here! The YouTube Effect, directed by the brilliant @AlexWinter premieres tomorrow at Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas nationwide! Rolling Stone calls the doc a “Must Watch” and I’m down with that.

Hey folks! Looks like I'm on Bluesky! I've worked in the #GamesIndustry for almost a decade in various Production, Marketing, and Writer/Narrative Design roles. I'm also a voice actor. Lastly, here's a picture of my #cat son, Ludwig von Lavos.

I'm really proud to be a part of this film. YouTube is so ubiquitous that I don't think many people realize how profoundly it has affected us.
@alexwinter.com
captures it magnificently.

I'm for user-decided custom algorithms, but I also feel like some iteration of the "What's hot" feed should remain available. Platform-wide feeds where everyone can see the same thing together, doesn't really exist in social media. I think it adds value. Any thoughts on this,
@pfrazee.com
? Thanks!

Guess the idea that there's only a 20% chance AI annhilating us is supposed to make us feel better? Thinking back to 1982 when Jim and I were working on The Terminator script and wondering why (other than in Sci Fi) no one was sounding the alarm? Call me Cassandra...

I've only been here a handful of days, but it already feels like we as a community have the ability to help define what this platform should be, and the hindsight to know what it shouldn't.

Having the ability to use your own domain name on Bluesky opens up exciting possibilities. It not only serves as a means of authentication and customization on the platform, it can also increase the value and visibility of the domain for the user. Kudos,
