3 hours after I started, it's done. I'm absolutely flaring, my hips and lower back feel like someone's poking my joints with a hot iron but man it's worth it. This chair is so nice, I could sleep in it ^^

Trying to get this chair done but my body keeps protesting so it's slow going, one step at a time with lots of resting in between. But it will get done tonight, even if it means putting myself into a flare and being down all day tomorrow XD

Okay so now that D&D is over I can say - I got a new chair! tl;dr wife knew the big box stores are still having sales this week coz Thanksgiving shenanigans, so she bit the bullet and bought me a nice gaming chair 🥰

It's just one hit after another. I had a nice gaming chair, but it fell apart finally about 2 years ago after 7 years of service. We've been so financially fucked we haven't been able to drop the $$$ for a new one, so I ended up with a cheap spinning office chair for like $80. Well, guess what?

#RuneLore Extremely good, because she's had to be. Strict military father meant outbursts weren't tolerated. Being thrown into ARR and the chaos of the game at 16 and now going on for over a decade just kept those skills sharp; public appearances and all that jazz where she's had to be stoic.

Got dinner, hung out with my wife, and now she's asleep and it's work time for me. Just a lazy night making some project progress ^^

I'm basically a vampire. I'm pale, sleep all day, avoid sunlight, hide away in a dark space, and freak people out with my presence.

#RuneLore Tyr was conflicted. She has lots of trauma around oceans and such, and only swims when she has to. On one hand knowing she couldn't drown eased some of the anxiety. On the other it also meant she was expected to swim and be more exposed to the ocean which was...not great.

Put my laundry away, gathered up all the stray clothes into the basket (or a bag, in my wife's case, since she leaves her clothes here lmao), did some general cleanup/trash pickup, washed what few dishes I keep here, and made a lot of progress on other projects. So far, productive day :D
