Close passes seem to be getting worse here in #Brighton. I had a private hire vehicle driver overtake me recklessly at Preston A23 roadworks last week. Photo was out of focus sadly. Lewes licenced I think. Many out of town taxis now in Brighton.

Been to #Chichester today to see the new roundabout! Everything proceeding smoothly. Looks good. One driver seems not to have noticed the new arrangement and left their large black vehicle intruding into the cycle lane.

#Lewes in East Sussex doesn't reduce the day to day motor traffic on the High Street. This is a big disincentive and inconvenience for #ActiveTravel and results in a lack of space to do it, as well as vehicle emissions, risk of collisions etc.

Not ideal is it? Buses are great, but being this close is going to put people off cycling. It's often better than being in the proximity of other vehicles, though. On the Lewes Road eastbound, A270, #Brighton

Today's the anniversary of the #Lewes flood in 2000. Bad news for our house in Cliffe! 1 metre of the Ouse river downstairs. Told to leave by the police. Later given a mop, care of Lewes District Council! It finally broke a few days ago. Brought back memories.

TRO 11 & 11a Old Town were meant to make it easier to cycle/walk/wheel. Despite a toucan link to the seafront, Black Lion St has been turned into a barricaded dead-end, blocked with barrels and parking. Does 'closed' REALLY mean closed to cycles? TRO didn't make it clear! 2-way cycle route lost!
