I cannot over-emphasise the absolute joy being able to shop from my phone brings. I hate shopping centres with a passion. 😭😫 I now only have to pop into the posh nursery tomorrow & grab some gift cards next time I’m at the supermarket & my Christmas shopping is done. 🙌

My bestie came for dinner, we cooked lamb & roast veg, she brought wine and dessert, love her guts. We watched the end of the ashes match between eating, very bloody satisfying. And I think that’s the end of the birthday festival. Can’t complain. 🍖🍰🍷🏏

Liberals twist RBA remarks to sell a false narrative on public spending
This week the Liberal Party shamefully misquoted the head of the Reserve Bank in a weak attempt to justify their criticism of government spending.

Took middle son + partner out for a lovely dinner at Movida to belatedly celebrate our joint birthday. Train in, a great meal, excellent service as always, train back home & I was in bed just after 11:00pm. Perfect Friday night. Especially since husband paid. 😊

Told husband I was going to bed early, since there wasn’t much happening in the cricket anyway. The score had sat on 4 wickets for ages. Then I said “Of course, now I’ve said that, we’ll take several wickets in quick succession.” Guess what? 😑

Youngest son starts temporarily working from home at our place 1 day a week, complains about the internet once & suddenly we have a tech here installing cable.🙄
