That's what it means to me as a pan person, but I know some people who identify as bi (and not pan) who also feel like gender doesn't come into consideration. #StetChat

#StetChat Q9 This is more general but if you know/see and LGBTQ+ editor hosting a webinar on similar topics or posting blogs, follow them and read up! I find learning from others in the community and talking to them can be a good way to learn, on top of any nonfiction texts.

Going organic is an option! Some people don't know more inclusive language because they don't engage regularly with a specific demographic. Starting with following and supporting LGBTQ+ writers, musicians, and other kinds of creators can offer real-time, real-world vocab examples. #stetchat

A7: If it’s obvious that the issues go beyond the language and get into representation territory, I recommended that people hire an LGBTQ+ sensitivity reader. ACES and EFA directories both let you search for sensitivity readers, or I send the person to an LGBTQ+ editor who might be a fit. #StetChat
