I like that we posted a real photo of my boss in the office and not a fake one in the lab looking at some nonsensical microscope or something π€·π» NORMALIZE SHOWING REAL SCIENCE!!!

If you've been following us for a bit, you might recognize this member of our team, who was featured on our very first post Nicolas Dufour is an associated researcher who splits his time between the BBH lab and his clinical work at an intensive care unit

A lot of the work for a research lab is not ACTUALLY performed on the bench, that's why it helps to have a good administrative assistant!! At the BBH we're lucky to have Eric Figueroa-Acosta helping us out with the (many) administrative tasks needed for the daily functioning of the lab

Today you get to meet one of our PhD candidates, Ngoc-Minh-Chau Nguyen She's been with the lab for >2 years, working on developing in vitro models to study bacterial infections in the lung. If you've got questions about cell culture or fluorescence microscopy, she's your person!!!

Today we're celebrating! Summer is here and it came with a "Groot" grant from
@pasteur.fr
for Nicolas Dufour (pictured left and who may have hurt his finger during grant-writing by the looks of it) and Quentin Lamy-Besnier (on the right with the cool artsy shirt) Congrats to both of you!!
