I agree with David actually, but my gamer hot take is: Almost every time someone tells me their "hot take" it is generally pretty lukewarm. Feels like people just parrot the same complaints they see others say online instead of forming their own opinions on things anymore.

Gaming was great when we just wanted good games. We didn't complain about FPS, 4k resolution, hair and jiggle physics. We just wanted good games, and the gaming companies delivered on that. Quit focusing on dumb things and get back to focusing on gameplay, not specs.
