Demo-Soms 2026 No.3: Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! - Fun retro styled FPS, modelled on Starship Troopers, with campy FMV adverts. Levels feature a set world space with objectives. Player can call in airstrikes and supply drops, man turrets to defend camps. Good fun, made by the Boltgun devs

Demo-Somns 2026 No.2: Mightreya - A high movement beat-em-up about a world where Kaiju invasions are basically a norm. Similar to games like Devil May Cry and God of War. Combat is fun and just the right amount of complicated to feel like my actions are more than spam to win, while still forgiving.

End of January, and one of my goals of the year is already done. But completed the bonus objective of getting a distinction too. :D A great wave of stress has been released from me. Hopefully the rest of my goals work out just as well.

That's a lotta Expedition 33. I both want it to sweep and to absolutely fail. So much salt on either side lmao. I know it's not the most prestigious but so glad Atomfall got a nomination. Such a good game that deserves more spotlight. Honestly looking forward to the awards this year.

Watching Twin Peaks for the first time lately. Got my first taste of this with the game Deadly Premonition. It's not exactly a blind watch. But genuinely enjoying it. Love the recurring music, the way the camera hangs, the sheer number of character and connections is fun to keep track of :)

Demo-Somns - No.01 - Monsters Are Coming: Rock and Road On the go tower defence. Honestly the premise undercuts what is actually an incredibly fun tower defence game that has you zipping across the map in utter panic as the level goes on. The devs say Autumn release and I am looking forward to it!

Rebellion teasing something new :) - and I am excited to see what's next in Atomfall. The Wicked Isle DLC was fantastic. Probably my personal game of the year so far for 2025.
