We need a TikTok ban scare again. Everyone was going live. We were all scrambling on Bluesky and Discords and we were interacting on a whole different level. Now it’s back quiet 😢

Hearing the news that a trans man was murdered and tortured breaks my heart. It’s especially triggering because, almost 19 years ago, my uncle, who was gay, was murdered by two men. He was stabbed 25 times and set on fire alive in the trunk of his car. It still haunts me to think of how he suffered.

Did you miss me? I was sick this week, but now I’m back, and I’ll resume my chaotic posts about whatever’s on my mind. 🫶🏾

I think the idea that white authors get a pass for not telling full and complicated and HONEST stories because they don’t “understand our lived experience” is so infantilizing. If they don’t pick up a book and LEARN just like everybody else has to!

I've been sick with a fever and haven’t been able to read anything. As a homebody, this just makes me want to stay in even more to avoid germs. Hopefully, I can get back to reading The Killing Moon today!
