Hokum is a rather enjoyable haunted-hotel story. I found it suspenseful and even scary, with some sharp, succinct dialogue and mood to spare. It could’ve used a bit more editing, but otherwise I enjoyed it, even Adam Scott playing an asshole worked for me.

We took our car on its first trip beyond the range of a single charge today. (Atlanta to Savannah.) We stopped just past the halfway point to recharge at a ChargePoint fast charger. I’m amazed at how easy the whole thing was, how fast!

I made $2.13/hour plus tips waiting tables at the downtown Austin Marriott, 1996-97. The restaurant was rarely busy for dinner, so income was always tight. I did occasionally get to work a breakfast shift, or in room service, where the real money was.

Spent my morning reading up on heart transplantation for amyloidosis patients. Y’know, light vacation reading.
