Bugonia and Predator: Badlands made for quite the odd double-feature. One is thought-provoking, the other thought-suppressing. Both feature great performances and are well-crafted. I can’t believe Predator isn’t rated R, though; it is SO violent. (Also loud. very loud.)

We’ve cancelled our Disney+/Hulu subscription. It’s been a long time coming, but the company’s cowardice with respect to Jimmy Kimmel made me pull the trigger.
