time to share that one of my big bookish desires is to moderate more author panels / Q&A sessions. i've done virtual conversations with authors (chloe gong in 2021), IRL moderating (nicole zelniker & marcia bradley in 2024), panels via RTM, and host a craft-focused author interview podcast.

We need to talk about something very important. There is a myth spreading in both irl and online left and progressive spaces that is doing real, material, lasting harm. THREAD.

i'm so excited about where my WIP, the first adult romance i wrote after 8 YA novels, is and i'm so hopeful and it's scary to feel like this because i'm so used to just existential dread at all times. weird! but nice!

two years ago today we sent my book out on sub and i’m sharing this photo today bc i haven’t sold the book but i still want to celebrate that moment when my dreams started to fall in reach.

yesterday was a high of a day, during which i had my 6th of 6 initial ketamine infusions. the difference i've observed within myself and my mind is astonishing. i'm so grateful i was able to do this, thanks to those who so generously donated to my gofundme in may.

off to my final ketamine treatment for now. what a ride it's been.
