It's insane how much interaction you get with a single line of code in visionOS 26 🤌

It's now possible to show entities outside of a volume's scene bounds in visionOS by adjusting the clipping margins. These entities are non-interactive and only work with volumes, but they’re still great for decorative effects. ☁

In visionOS 26 mixed immersion style apps can now coexist in Apple environments. Even reflections and lightings blend perfectly over into the environment ✨

By using Systems and Components I can finally focus on the fun part: Being creative by crafting levels 🔨 I can use Reality Composer Pro as my level editor, put my pieces together like I want and the rest works out of the box 🪄 Spoiler Alert for level solution at the end ⚠️👀

Today, to hopefully save other developers some time, some bugs / workarounds I found over the last days in visionOS. When using a RealityView inside a LazyHGrid, the window / volume does not get dismissed correctly, leading to memory leaks -> use HStack instead, FB16930710.

Custom hover effects in visionOS keep the UI clean and minimal while seamlessly revealing extra details when needed. A perfect balance of simplicity and functionality! ⚙

Portals are easily one of THE coolest features in visionOS Not only do they give me those sleek, 3D bento-box-style previews of my levels, but they also make it feel like my content is truly stepping into the real world—simply amazing! ✨
