I've had to start changing my sleep schedule for my day job. I don't really like getting up at 5:30am (not an early morning person)... but I'm shocked how I've been doing that for a full week now and I haven't had a crash (yet).

My darlings, after some deep thoughts while driving home from LA this weekend, I'm thinking I might be skipping shows in Cali next year. Maybe no shows out of state at all. There are several reasons for this. But to keep it simple, the big reasons are time and money.

There is a lot of confusion about the artist alley location(s) this year. The AA isn't in the exhibitor hall, it's been split in two. I'm in Kentia Hall with many of my fellow artist. But there are also others over in West Hall. Even with some signage, guests are still having trouble. #lacomiccon

LACC starts today!!

I am exhausted and I need to get packing today.. uuggghhh

WAIT. BACK UP. I finished that last one of Shadowheart in four-ish hours????? I haven't worked *that fast* and been happy with the outcome in over a year! o.o Is.. is the..dare I hope, is the burn out finally leaving me..?

Holy hells I did it. Finished these three lovies in time to get prints of them ready for LACC this coming weekend.

Every single time I need to do something that involves my bachelor's degree, I get exhausted. I graduated in 2014 and the school has closed. The degree has also done nothing at all for me in the almost 11 years I've had it.

Very much feeling the "I did a thing a few days ago and now I'm paying the price for it" spoonie addition. Ugh. I have a lot of things I need to do, but it's going to *have* to be a rest day. Any time it takes me more than 45 minutes to have the energy to move out of bed is not a great time.

Gouache painters, I have a newbie question. I've some gouache that's dried in a tube, if I just cut the tube & re-hydrate the paint with water on a palette would that be okay? I cannot squeeze it out of the tube. I'm used to working with acrylics, not gouache or water colors. #paint #gouachepaint

LACC is two months away, I think it's time to get off my ass and make some new merch. I have some new bookmarks about 50% done, but there are some other things I need to do. But first. Coffee.
