Just unearthed the bill for our modest wedding reception in April 1976. £88.65 for 20 guests! Have booked to have dinner there to celebrate our anniversary and sure the bill for 2 will be more than that!

Peter Mandelson is responsible for such a long litany of scandals he was probably one of the factors FOR a vetting process in the first place. In fact the first question of any govt vetting process should be 'Are you or have you ever been Peter Mandelson?'

The clue was: Grandson of Alfred the Great who reigned from 925 to 939 as the First King of all England. (A) (We could discuss the start date, but close enough that a few more than 1 should have got it, surely.)
