This is one of our favourite things in the Museum's collection - a #stumpwork #embroidery panel from c.1665. It depicts Charles II's coronation in 1660, and a snapshot of Charles and his companion William Carliss hiding in the Boscobel Oak, following his defeat at the Battle of Worcester in 1651.
