Woke up to find the fat ginger nonce *hadn’t* nuked Tehran and it turns out half the snarky commentariat on BlueSky think it’s appropriate to wheel out the T.A.C.O. meme as a bit of glib social commentary. “He didn’t follow through on Armageddon threats! What a coward!” 🥴

We are facing most significant days and weeks in world history since 1945

It comes as no surprise, but for the second time this year I’ve noticed how a restaurant has used AI to create ‘covers’ of popular tunes. You know. Those plaintive woman voices, acoustic guitar only etc. But the tell tale signs of superhuman pitching and unlikely vocal ranges? Just stop. Please!!

I often wondered why there’s a soulless silence at Old Trafford - something you just don’t hear at St James’s or Anfield. To see a stadium that used to buzz, turn into an energy-less coliseum for Sports tourists with inhibited vocal cords.

I was looking on the web a fortnight ago for a ceiling mounted diffuser for the new studio. The one I wanted was £1500 so I thought ‘Fk it’ and I built one myself. Used some left over paint from previous decorating. Mixed them up a bit. Ended up like this.

The key take from Mandelson is that as he was intrinsic to the New Labour project between 97 and 2010 it is fair to say that coercive control is KEY to granting political power. With that in mind, we should be cynical of WHY Starmer got the job, instead we are gaslit about his poor decision making🤔

Are there any Meteorologists here on 🦋? This winter I have noticed a serious decline in accurate forecasting beyond 3 days. For instance, tonight’s wind warning was not predicted at the beginning of the week. Not for the first time, too. Are low pressure systems becoming harder to predict?

One of the most scurrilous (and untrue) rumours out there, that
@bandcamp.com
waived all rights of songwriters last year to train AI. If you search in their T’s and C’s you’ll discover quite the opposite is true. They forbid it. And if you USE AI to create music you’re forbidden too. (1/2)…

The crowd at the World Darts Championship keep singing (to the tune of Seven Nation Army) “Keir Starmer’s a Wanker!” and I hope Keir is watching because I reckon he likes White Stripes. He was very impressed when they sang “Oh Jeremy Corbyn!” At Glastonbury too as we all know. He loved Jeremy.

Bandcamp is pretty good for connecting with fans who want to support musicians. But if you want your tracks to reach people who actively dislike musicians, then you need to get your music on Spotify as well.

Hot tip for those who got spammed by a ‘promotion’ playlist (without them asking) and reported to it to Spotify but it STILL got taken down.Tell your distributor you reported it and also ask for the details of the ‘promoter’ playlist because you wish to take legal action.
