So while I've occasionally joked about charging for babysitting services like bedtime stories, changes, all that good stuff, in all honesty the idea is pretty uncomfortable for me. Caretaking is all about the emotional connection for me, and faking that for cash just would not work for me at all.

A quick word of advice for folks looking for attention from caretakers: Sometimes you're gonna have to make the first move. I know that's tough and scary, but us Big types can't always tell if folks are interested, so a polite introduction to see if there's maybe mutual interest can be helpful.

Once again, the A in ABDL stands for adult, which means accepting that adults like different things. Please don't try to tell people that they "have to" express an interest in this kink or community in the same way you do. It's fine to give people a safe space to explore, but don't force things.

Some of the most humbling, and fulfilling, moments I've had as a caretaker have been when people let me know that something I've done or said has helped them experience a Little headspace despite anxiety or self consciousness. Those are huge hurdles for many people and it feels really good to help.

Caretaker Tip: Don't be afraid to interrupt your Little's gaming session for a diaper check or change. It's a good reminder of what they're wearing and of their real age even if you let them pay big kid games. Bonus points for loudly announcing what you're doing so any friends on voice know, too.

When I first started it in the fandom, I constantly heard that artists were just being bombarded by folks faking friendship for free art, and I resolved to never be that guy, but I think I overcorrected. I feel like I ended up too distant and cautious for years and I probably messed up friendships.

"Aww, look how cute you are, kneeling there with your collar, harness, and diaper. Doesn't it feel good to know that I'm holding your leash, telling you what to do, what to think? I thought so. Now then, let's see how well trained our new Service Puppy is after finishing Obedience School."

Your excuse for not being in diapers is that you're "not a baby"? What's that got to do with anything? There's plenty of other reasons to be in diapers. They're comforting, they make you feel safe, it makes the babies who do need them feel better, or just simply because I said you belong in diapers.

I know a lot of Littles have thought "Being babied would fix me" but did you know that caretakers can have that same feeling from the other side? It's true! And today is definitely a day where I want to go home, pad up someone cute, and pull their diapered butt into my lap for a good few hours.

It's funny seeing ABDL artists joke about clients always asking "Can you make the diaper bigger", because just once I asked an artist if they could draw a diaper a little thinner and they flat out refused. Y'all artists are just as guilty of Big Diaper propaganda is all I'm saying.

The most important part of caretaking, especially for first time shy Littles, is providing validation and safety. Letting someone know that it is totally okay to act small or wear kiddo clothes or enjoy "childish" media. Supporting a person's first real chance to express themselves can be magical.

I do exactly this, too! I also tend to kneel down and fuss with their diaper after getting them standing up, adjust tapes a little, tuck leg gatherers in, make them do a full twirl, pull the waistband up to ensure maximum peekage, and maybe pour a little(or a lot) extra baby powder down the back.

Caretaker Tip: Some regular rituals can really help your Little separate grown-up responsibilities from time to relax and feel Small. At the end of a work week, make a point of confiscating big kid clothes and lay out some kiddo outfits for them to change into to get the weekend started right.

My phone just tried to autocorrect a random word to "nappy" and boy do I not love that. I mean, there are plenty of great words for diapers and that just isn't one of them.

Okay, I was talking with a coworker and they explained how they used AI to write bedtime stories for their kids and allow me to promise you all that if I'm ever reading you a bedtime story that it was written by a real human being and not a machine.

When dealing with Littles, remember that there's a difference between "Still in Diapers" and "Back in diapers". Still in diapers implies that they've always been a baby or needed padding. Back in diapers suggests some regression had been applied to make sure they're properly dressed.

Caretaker Tip: Diapering all of the plushies belonging to any Little you're taking care of can do wonders for reinforcing the idea that diapers are normal and proper to wear. After all, doesn't your Little think that their plushies are just the best? And shouldn't they follow such a good example?

As a caretaker it's really helpful to understand what activities help Littles get into headspace. For me, giving someone a bath with bubbles and rubber duckies while they get to babble and feel safe is super rewarding. So I want to ask what helps you all, Big Or Little, get in the right mood?

It's always funny to me to think of all the people who I've been close enough to that they trust me to give them a diaper change, but neither of us know one another's real names.

I really need to practice my fireman's carry to really max out the experience for any (Adult) babies I need to lift and yeet onto the changing table for a fresh diaper. Something to think on for BFC.

Is there a name for the feeling where it seems like you're less excited to do a thing than to just have it over? Maybe it's just being an adult, but boy is anticipation just not the same.

I really wish it didn't take me roughly a year or two to notice that people were genuinely interested in me. Seriously, the number of times I've looked back and realized, "Wait they were actually flirting with me" way, way too late is kind of embarrassing.

Seeing art and social media can set unrealistic expectations for how Little and Caretaker interactions will go. Mistakes happen! The first time I have a Little a bath I might have nearly boiled them a bit. The point is to communicate and learn so everyone has a better and more fulfilling time.

Okay sex is great and all, but have you ever had a cute Little fall asleep nestled in your lap because it's the first time they've ever felt safe and comfortable enough to get into such a personal and vulnerable headspace with someone else?

It sucks, but sometimes you just have to accept that the person that hasn't been online in months isn't coming back again. And thanks to the nature of meeting people on the Internet, you may never what happened. I'm just hoping that somehow they're okay.

I threw a kiddo party with lots of my really close friends last night. It was pretty amazing: nuggies, snax, a GIANT blanket fort, vibes and a movie. It was my first time hosting one of these and I was so happy with how it turned out. I love my pals so much.

I was thinking back, and I realized I haven't had anything like a proper vacation since 2018, and that only kinda counts. Cons are way way too busy and frantic, and I just haven't done much of anything else. That's probably one reason that I've been feeling too stressed and worn out lately.

I wish I could say that I'm looking back on the previous year with pride for what I've accomplished and a sense of hope for the future, but that'd be a lie. I've been doing pretty badly for a while, and it's very difficult to remain optimistic that things can change for the better anytime soon.

Remember kiddos, it'd be rude of you not to show appreciation for EVERY gift you got under the tree this year, so make sure to try on every embarrassing outfit and silly diaper print. And don't mind me with the camera, I'm just making sure that all your friends get to see how cute you look, too.
