there are a few design elements about my character that have been there for like… At least 15 years, and that I don’t want to touch no matter what. I swear it was simpler back then when I didn’t care too much about her design 😭 Anyway, hopefully I’ll be fully satisfied now 🫶🏻

Years ago, Berry had that simple but kinda boring design that she’s kept for years and I was fine with it. Then one day I decided to modernize it and I over did it. Everyone has been super supportive and kind, so I don’t know why I feel some guilt by being so undecided about my character design and making so many changes lately 😭I don’t want to annoy or confuse people LOL

Been working on Berrys turnaround reference and adjusted some design elements again, as I said on twt. A few friends have helped me by suggesting some ideas and I’m so grateful to them bc I’m actually pretty bad at character design!! I really do value their opinion a ton😭

Normalize inconsistency in your art. Normalize not making every art piece super detailed and intricate. Normalize just creating art for the sake of it.
