We’ve been rather quiet the last month. Not that we haven’t been active in our community but we had a break from social media. Some downtime for staff, young people & the communities within which we engage. We’re currently co developing a plan for celebrating the community projects & work we do

UYA is working in partnership with Prof Karen McArdle, to create a space where young people from UYA Coastal Social Action groups take the lead in shaping PAR research. examining career advice biases that affect social mobility, health determinants & inequalities.

This weekend the Coastal social action groups met with Professor Karen McArdle to be part of the Young Researchers project. The group explored the impact of IAG on young people’s future health choices and opportunities. Research to commence next month with the findings presented in Sept 25.
