#breakoutcon day 4 Finished the Con with a bang with Draw Steel. Fantastic GM, fantastic group. My Dragon Knight Exorcist Censor was doing 22 passive damage per round to the werewolf boss, while our Conduit and Shadow punished the ghost and our Dwarf Fury and I took turns pummeling the werewolf.

i am so opposed to the tcg sales model it's predatory legalized gambling. yea it's fun to open packs. i get it, it's really fun. but i also think the idea of spending hundreds on a card game deck is obscene. i also wish gamers wouldn't reward tcgs and ccgs by buying boosters.

#breakoutcon day 3 update 1/2 Had a great conversation about adapting 5e into Daggerheart with @dungeondudes.bsky.social and played two games of For the Queen with @gobletsandgays.bsky.social (Tammy the prom queen had it coming).

In my Invisible Sun campaign I had two players, both Makers. One would show up and improv, did not even want to make character advancement choices (I would select randomly from a subset). The other would do extensive magical chemistry homework between sessions. They were housemates.

Medula Oblongata Dead Drop. Double-page spread experiment. I was just going to see if some of this new art I found would print out alright, but that led to a few ideas and here we are. The "Burn Results" table may look awkward online, but when I print it out I like the end effect.

Also ran GRIDHOG, a one-shot for Triangle Agency. The players invoked Agency support to retcon that the system analyst's supervisor had always been in love with him. The Drain/Star/Gravedigger player then tried to Borrow the relationship, but failed: leaving no one with a relationship to leverage.

In tonight's Legend of the Five Rings game, things got messy when three Emerald Magistrates submitted three *different* copies of the same document into evidence.

Just finished session zero of a Historica Arcanum: City of Crescent campaign. This is D&D 5e, adapted to mid-1800s Turkey. We finished character creation and did a couple opening scenes, and I'm delighted.
