This past summer I bonded with my girlfriend's daughter by taking her to a screening of The Princess Bride with thousands on the lawn of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. She was blown away by it and I was thrilled with the experience we shared. Unnecessarily gone. RIP Rob Reiner.

Watching the Paul Reubens doc and it's crazy that they made this documentary and had no idea about his cancer. Meanwhile he understood exactly what he was doing!

So Kevin Smith got ownership of Dogma after the Weinstein company had the rights to it for the last two decades or so. He is now re-releasing it in theaters. I have never seen it. I feel like this is something I should do. Yay or Nay?

Happy to see that Sesame Workshop will continue to get big funding!

According to my mom, the first movie I saw in a theater was a re-release of The Fox and the Hound. I was small enough to where the seat folded in on me. So when I saw that The New Beverly in Hollywood was showing the film this Saturday, I had to buy a ticket. See ya this weekend!

Today was my first day off work in over a month and I spent it being super productive. Cleaned house, filled my fridge, and wrote/shot/edited videos for Modern Mouse, the first scripted material I've made since last May. I have to be at work at 7am but I'm hyped and can't sleep.

This video is excellent and I couldn't have put it into words better than this. Great research and analysis. Also fair to everyone. Don't get defensive. Just watch. You aren't getting made fun of if you love Disney.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If a job asks you to work a six day week, get out! I'm doing my best to do just that. I'm constantly exhausted and burnt out. It also doesn't help that I've been writing and hosting trivia on my days off.

It will always blow my mind that people in the United States grew up with Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, The Lorax, Fraggle Rock, Blue Clues, etc... and yet so many people do the complete opposite of what they grew up learning. Empathy, kindness, community, and love. Who are we?

Miley Cyrus might have the best music video of the 2000s (Party in the USA) definitely the 2010s (Wrecking Ball) and is a contender for the best of the 2020s (Flowers). That's crazy considering I feel like she's still a young star with her best years ahead of her.

My current day job has me working 6 days a week. There are some theories saying that a 40-hr 6-day work week is better than 5 days. I'm here to tell you it isn't. Only having 4 days off a month sucks.

Last night I got to experience the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter as a live immersive experience at Titmouse Animation, and I left smiling, soaked in fake blood. I never had the chance to experience the Florida attraction, so this checked a box for me. I might go again.

I know a lot of people are talking about this year's Oscars lineup looking weak... but the animation category is stellar. Wallace & Gromit is probably the weakest of the 5 and it's getting praise after being on everyone's radar for months. That's how good the category is.

Just watched. I cried like a baby. What a great nod to parenthood, community, and kindness.

The last few days of movies watched has been an interesting mix.

If you hate how things in the real world feel, it's important to realize that the best form of action is to get out and do something positive in the real world. Volunteer. Meet with neighbors. Make friends. Small acts of kindness. It's important that we exist in the real world and not just online.

I know this sounds weak, I know it. But kindness is one of the few things we carry that can make a difference for each other. We can’t undo all this hate, but we can still make life a little easier for others.

I'll be spending much more time here. Thanks to those that have found me or those that have read or watched my work. I'll be interacting and posting frequently.
