With the Moon it was difficult to see any but the brightest Perseids (11-12 August)--but those we did see were magnificent. Foreground image was captured at the start of the session. Meteor images were stacked & aligned then composited with the foreground image taken earlier. #astrophotography

Image of Blended TPW (Total Precipitable Water) from GOES-18. The remnant circulation of former Hurricane Flossie is apparent to the west of Baja C while a surge of high moisture is moving northward in the Sea of Cortez. Models indicate the moisture will barely make to AZ. Too bad... #azwx
