I have a very unscientific belief that AMFRC and similar generally play poorly in lots of positions. FRC can be good. DM/FC can be amazing. FRLC are starting to get into shaky territory. Attribute and ability wise they can look phenomenal - but it's like they're cursed by having too many letters.

It's going great, but there's a risk of not reaching the UEFA Cup semis here after only getting a 1-1 draw at home. Will we stumble in a hectic atmosphere at José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon or can we pull through? Last season we actually reached the final, but eventually lost to Hertha.

That feeling when you know your team is so good that no tactical changes are necessary when falling behind 0-2 against Man U. After so many seasons on the edge of the seat, it's nice to just sit back and watch my boys do their thing.

With all the best Danish regens + Nicolai's tactic, this season is like easy mode. Bowing Day 2008 is an example of how we just keep winning despite not always being the best team on the pitch. Having a Schmeichel regen in goal helps a lot.

I'm much better now, thnks. Took inspiration form @nikolai9798.bsky.social and with a tactic almost identical to his latest stroke of genius, we're now on a win streak in the league. We even managed to defeat Brøndby in the UEFA Cup despite losing 0-3 in Copenhagen.

Three first matches of the new season in rapid succession. Didn't go well...

I'm afraid I f'ed up our chance for a title challenge with the tactics change. Didn't work at all. Now I've reverted to something halfway between those two formations. The real problem however is the 7 month injury to the Michael Laudrup regen who is easily our best player.

December 2006. Time for a tactical change for the Brentford Danes. No more wing backs. I was thinking maybe combine the popular back 3 with a diamond midfield, wingers and a lone forward. Will it work?

In a precursor to the 2010 world cup final, when Holland smashed Spain to bits, here they are back in 2002 practising against Italy. 3 injuries and 6 yellow cards. Lovely stuff. Worked mind, Italy were 4-1 up at half time before they got scared.

It's Boxing Day again. This season is going way better.

Things have improved a bit for us in this our seventh season with Danish Brentford. Mid-table is very close, but our triumphant Boxing Day comeback after falling two goals behind at White Hart Lane clinched it for us: We're not settling for 11th or 12th this time. We want to see Europe.

Sorry for no updates, but tbh this season has been a grind. Our rep still isn't good enough to attract the best Danish players, so I scoop up regens and build for the future. We reverted to this 3-5-2 tactic. Peter Schmeichel is now 39, but still our best player with a 7.65 avg. #cm9798

We're 9 matches deep in our first Premier League season and we're doing just fine, thank you. Here's a few highs and lows. Miklos Molnar is back from a broken leg and only needed 7 minutes at White Hart Lane to put in his first goal for us.

Alas, our first Premier League match did not turn out to be the unexpected underdog triumph we had dreamed of.
