Numbers are what we should have expected. Again all the action is with imports (now falling). Slowdown, but no recession. At any rate, add to the risk of Fed policy, the fact that government spending seems to have stagnated, and that is not a good sign

There are many issues with Coase’s point here that are problematic (e.g. the notion of a Marshall/Pigou divide), but the most egregious is the notion that policy prescription (laissez faire or not) is the crucial divide /1
