Sometimes dailies take precedent, especially if they're about to reset... Done with our nerdy little goblin, chilling in a mimic chest! And those of you who were brave enough to withstand my ramblings got to see the whole process, form character concept to the end result!

Okay. We've got ourselves a nerdy little goblin. Instead of going the "teeehee sexy gamer girl" route, I went a bit more mouse-y, with muted gray-ish colors, simple and unkempt clothing. Went simple with the sketch, no shading, nothing fancy, just something to get the point across.

Study time! A simple pose this time. The goal was to paint in spit and drool and all the shines. Experimented with my usual process (on the tongue) of a soft light layer with a darker outline, that then gets blended in, and a new process of drool/sweat on the breasts to make them shiny and streak-y

Early morning kobold sketch for my studies! Took me about an hour. In the interest of shading I might come back and shade this if the other studies run on for too long, but I think about an hour per study is a sweet spot.

Second study of the day. Undead goblin this time! Close enough to Gobtober, I think! Again, around an hour. Still trying out more interesting posing that uses up the space on the canvas better. I'm also trying to blend and blur some lines to soften things up.
