First look! The game is so fun and smooth. Flow reminds me of Drive and REV. Love that you can do juggle combos on the corner and you're not setup for a throw loop on the defensive end cus' you can roll out.

With all the gaming stuff going on. It's getting easier and easier for me to wanna get a Switch 2. Was gonna get a Steam Deck but the prices got higher. If I get it, I'll finally have legit access Nintendo stuff.

Fiona Belli, Haunting Ground

Scarlet is so hot but she's in the same game as Tifa and Aerith. She's a character made for me to draw and I need some excuses😭

Can't wait for Avatar Legends. Gonna go into it blind, I've seen some gameplay but I'm still unfamiliar with the overall mechanics. My only concern is that it looks like it has a kameo system, which I'm not a fan of. I'm optimistic though, an ATLA fighting game is already a big novelty.

As much as I would glaze DOA, DOA6LR is a waste of money. If you want Mai and Kula, play Sf6 or KoF instead. Also, get DOA5LR instead, Core Fighters are very cheap on sale and DLCs are free if you mod it. The franchise really deserves the bad rep.

I always thought that those "blank in blank's perspective is hilarious" youtube videos aren't gonna be hilarious. I finally watched one ☠️ They're not bad, just boring and unfunny. A half-baked character recap and analysis.

Ever feel bad that one of the characters you've made looks like another character? Yesterday I was redesigning my characters, one of them looked like Gwen. After a quick adjustment, she ended up looking like Samus so I just conceded. Unintentionally of course, I was just following my description.

Nothing spicier than Korean noodles. I've eaten curry, chili and jalapeños, still couldn't stand eating those noodles. One trick that changes the game was eating them fast and adding cheese. It's a lose/lose meal but they look so delicious.

More Tomb Raider for me! I also had the LAU Trilogy on console 10 years ago. Underworld was probably my favorite.

Been obsessed with 80s animation lately. I've been watching them while commuting; I was going out a lot this month alone. I wanna be as good as the artists/animators that worked on these.

I don't want to get attached to any sports athletes anymore. Seeing them lose almost ruined my day today; got me considering why I even bother watching. I'm gonna stick to doing sports rather than watching it, why let my happiness get dictate by strangers.

I played Dota 2 again after 12 years ☠️ Well I did but I'm not planning on playing Ranked/PVP. Just a local setup of myself and if my friends are available. A lot of stuff changed but since I play pos 1, I don't have a lot of stuff to worry about other than farming. I miss jungling though.

Big games got more fun to play for me to check out when I avoid the comments and the posts that complains about X game being bad cus' X reason etc. Having a journal where I give my thoughts about the games also helped me a lot. Keeps me genuine and not influenced by popular opinions.

Haven't made actual concept art for a while. It was one of my main focus when I was still learning, never was really good at it so I'm only drawing it for practical purposes and documentation for my projects. So happy to finally draw the Kaijus for PAKS.

Adler - Signalis

Primed it with matte black. I'm gonna make a Signalis themed cover for it. Not a replica from the one in the game, just a new illustration so I have an excuse to draw Falke, Adler or Ariane; whoever is closest as the King in Yellow.

Going full force with concept art for my project PAKS for next 6 months. I'm focused creating a personal story set in a fantastical setting, featuring the characters I made at one of the roughest part of my life; now that I'm at a much stable point.

I like to call Ariane and Elster's dance song "Tururuuuuuu" instead of Schubert "Serenade" D957 No.4. Also, I thought it was called 3000 cycles or something but it was referring to the song before the dance.

I love her so much!

Is there an offline game that simulates MOBA gameplay? I don't have access to DotA 1 cus' internet cafes are now a thing of the past. Don't wanna go back to playing Dota 2 and League, or any of the new ones.

Redoing this piece. Not because I don't like it; cus' I had an even better idea that requires me to start from scratch. + I've been fighting the sketch of this piece for a while, it's not healthy drawing that way even though it looks good.

This is how I pretty much sketch. A blur tool that I made opaque. I tried changing the way I sketch so it becomes more presentable but I always end up messing it up every time. I wanna work on improvements starting next week.

Cooling down

Taking a break tomorrow. Power will be out and I need to take it easy. I've been second guessing myself today; feeling that my drawings aren't coming out good. Only when I look closer and think logically that it's not really that bad like what my mind thinks it is.

Gave away my stick last year and now I wanna get one of these 😵‍💫 The investment is kinda redundant since I can just use keyboard but its convenient and portable.

New Motorslice patch just fixed a lot of my complaints. Wall running got smoother but I still need check if you don't fall off when P lands rolling. I don't think they're gonna change the way you swap directions while motorslicing. Everybody's probably used to that by now.

Red Riding Hood

Good things must come to an end. Thankful for Motorslice for giving me a great weekend. Had to deal with some IRL stress last week, I was very much looking forward to play this game. Ended up 100-ing the game! All the frustrating parts I had were now a breeze upon replaying. I love this game!

Taking everything in for now. I'm gonna draw P this Monday. So far I have 4 achievements left; two of them only requires a quick playthrough so I might as well 100% Motorslice.

Just finished Motorslice! Prince of Persia, AC2, Tomb Raider, Mirrors edge, Shadow of the Colossus, and Nier; a lot of my favorite games packaged into one big optimized indie game. A journey with fast-paced gameplay in a somber brutalist setting getting in the way of your climb to the top.

I've been improving. Chapter 6 has been my fastest map so far. Keeping momentum and being cool is key. My wall running and slicing surprisingly got better; still awkward but you gotta do whatever it takes.

There's one part each chapter where you wanna just fly with Orbie. Wall-running seems to be difficult for me from a vertical jump, most of my complaints can be remedied with skill. Horizontal wall-running is still awkward for me, but it's satisfying when I get it right nonetheless.
