I think AT-Proto should be getting far more scrutiny as a self limiting “decentralized” standard in that it inherently centralizes in it’s Relays. Set up as many PDSs and AppViews as you like, as long as Bluesky is the only Relay, there is no decentralization there.

To be real with y’all, NJ isn’t even that good of a state for trans people. Most of our state’s GAC providers dropped trans people under 19, and no one really did anything about it. No AG threats, no statements of support for trans people, none of it.

The NJ Governor’s race is so frustrating because Sherrill’s getting hit for being pro-trans while voting to take away care from trans kids in the NDAA. Bring it up and you get accused of sowing division. And it’s not just her, it’s Democrats all over the board getting rope-a-doped the same way.

Debating between getting a Sony nifty-fifty for my A7C or getting a Canon/Sony adapter so I could use my existing Canon nifty-50 and a manual fisheye that I have. The fish eye is for an APS-C sensor, so it’ll always produce a circular fisheye on the A7C. Could be cool though?

I’m getting a lot of wedding dress ads recently, which is honestly not the worst targeting for an already married 35 year old trans woman who did so pre-transition.

Some guy showed up at our last trans support group, asking about a meeting of “transsexuals.” He just sort of hung out for a bit before disappearing. It’s tough because these groups are generally welcoming of community, but the times call for a sense of paranoia about unknown people.

My fourth HRT anniversary is on October 1st. To celebrate I’m taking portraits and getting a cake. Honestly, I’m struggling for a theme for the shoot, but I’m happy to have the tradition of doing it.
