Our playgroup is proxy friendly, so we’ve seen both sides. Untapped duals and fetches can push a deck up a bracket by themselves. Wild that Commander Brackets still treat all mana bases as equal.

I still haven't found a new deckbox that I really love. I stopped buying UG for reasons, but not in love with Gamegenic boxex. I like practical and simple. Just needs to hold 100 cards for commander single-sleeved.

I gave Final Fantasy Tactics Ivalice Chronicles a real shot, but it’s not my kind of turn-based game. Pacing, RNG, and permadeath stress just don’t click with how I play anymore. That’s a mismatch, not a flaw. Some games demand patience I don’t have the bandwidth for these days — and that’s fine.

The thing about Universes Beyond for me, is, the art direction and card design are incredible. They capture each franchise perfectly. But that creativity is getting buried under Hasbro’s volume and greed. Magic’s best work is being used to serve quarterly reports now, not worldbuilding.

Finished Ghost of Yotei the other night. Game was rock solid. I just couldn't vibe with the narrative the same way as the first. The story of Atsu just boiled down to a revenge at any costs story with a few twists along the way. Nothing really cut as deep as the guilt Jin felt in Tsushima.
