It's now official that the next version of Ruby is going to be 4.0 github.com/ruby/ruby/co... We're working to get a beta of Programming Ruby 4.0 available about the time of the release with up-to-the minute changes for the new version.

Arg... Developers with big salaries at large companies complaining that the OSS they use doesn’t meet their daily needs without offering any help but still having plenty of energy to complain. I spend 5–10 hours/week on OSS for about $20 a month. I’m sure you can make requests with that in mind 😒

frankly the community IMO needs to turn this into a call for better diversified funding and governance for rubycentral stuff, but not a burn down of everything. that’s just going to hurt us all. i have so many thoughts on this and how i personally feel at some decisions.

This makes me nuts when developers using OSS get angry just because we follow the specifications of ext files. Linting and templating already follow the specs, and developers have only minimal changes to make—yet they complain about adding a one-line schema workaround....

The upgrade of the `jsonschema` library (stricter validation) in a recent #Helm version led to many issues... mostly due to malformed JSON schemas. But many people said "helm is broken", "this is an abrupt change for a patch version". Nope that's your schema. Please read the output carefully. 🙏
